Entitlement!
It took me a while to analyse this, but I think I've figured the main issue on this site. It's ENTITLEMENT. And I mean entitlement on both sides of the fence. I've made a few friends on here and we speak at length about life and their life's experiences even as it relates to being here. I don't follow men, so I have to rely on their accounts.
Men
Apparently they feel as though because a woman is on here, means she wants to fuck everything in sight (and site). And with that, they go after them in the most obscene of ways. Speaking to them in demeaning ways before they even engage in a decent conversation (that's for those interested in actual convos). And with that, the women put up their defences and labels us as all the same. So where an actual friendship could be formed it's not.
Women
With this now, I have experience. Their feeling of entitlement is monetary. Or something of value in exchange for their time. Which, I find strange to an extent. I refuse to believe that EVERY female on here doesn't have a job that pays a decent wage enabling them sustainability of life. Yes, a few may really have this as the only way to get some money, but it couldn't be so many. Now, I'm NOT knocking the hustle, but here's how I view it. What if EVERYONE charged you to interact with them? What if you saw a guy that you were actually into, brought forward a well constructed thoughts and at every turn he said you need to pay him in some way? I'm thinking that would suck. But if you think your time is so valuable that you should be paid at every turn, then in all fairness so is his time.
So that's my analysis in short. People feel way too entitled. Nothing wrong with the hustle, but where does the hustle stop. And for those saying "this site is about making money" it means you weren't here early when that WAS NOT an option. The site was made for sharing ones content in a safe non judgemental environment. Shout-out to the friends I've made for all the years I've been here and friends I'll manage to make in the future.
