No More Uploads!

Recently xHamster deleted my profile with no warning for having "Fifty-three DMCA copyright complaints" from various porn producers. I managed to get them to reactivate my profile (eventually), after getting it through to them that I didn't receive a single warning. In their terms, xHamster is supposed to give a warning after 3 complaints and suspend the account after 6.

I'm back, though my uploading privileges have been removed (I suggested it, so that's OK)... not that I was doing much uploading lately anyway. This site grew on these "pirate" uploads and now they want to be a legit trailer site for porn companies. That's fine; if they can make it work, then goodie for them. I'll spend more time on alternative streaming sites though... I prefer to see full videos. Pornhub still seems pretty good as far as I can tell.

I mainly wanted the profile back to access the favorites I've saved over the years, as well as keep in touch with some of those on my friends list.

I'll still check the site here and there, so by all means comment or ask questions or whatever.

to Cee_Regazzo : You got me wondering so I checked out my picture uploads area and sure enough I can still upload photos. Hmm... I guess posting copyrighted pictures doesn't matter? Lol...

Oh, so anybody can just get dropped at any time, for any cause past or present. That explains some recent people gone missing, Craxxx, Apt567 & Gidney, too. Amazing you were able to come back. Last time I tried to use the feature to write to xHam, their software wouldn't run and none of my messages were sent. Uploading videos doesn't make a lot of sense but pictures they still mostly leave alone. No more pirate videos? What an idea.

to giddyup1 : Thanks. You know when I got my profile back, I noticed that 6 of my friends were "retired", some being very longstanding members... zebra44 being one of them. Not that I thought they were focusing on little old me, but it certainly seems like they are on the warpath atm.

Sometimes the trailers on here have been useful, if I see something I like I'll just google it on another site or grab a torrent, heh...

Bunch of fucking asshats. I have voluntarily quit uploading too. Too much trouble just to have them deleted. At the moment Chloyd is the fucking hero.

to dmc01 : LOL...I guess it was the matter of expressing utter contempt that helped...XH has collapsed from its glory days which really has been only two years ago. There were so many fine users uploading prime quality videos. Now it's all trailers and mostly antiquated crap the studios don't give a flip over.

to Chloyd : It's interesting to hear about other similar cases. Heh, it was "Smoky" who restored my account as well. The first one I dealt with was "Matt" who really didn't give a crap, and then the last couple responses were from Smoky... who at first said restoring the profile was impossible.

As for their model cams there was a time I checked them out on occasion, though I've never bought credits or whatever. Their quality really went downhill.

to dmc01 : It stunk how they treated uploaders who'd already been blocked after the three issues. They started counting all the subsequent deletions and issues afterwards, even after the user had been inactive for over a year. What happened in one case is they sent a user an invite to enjoy their model cams shows after the closure of his account...He blasted them of their gall and told them to fuck off...Three days later his account was restored and it was what "Smoky" termed a "tech error". Suuuuure it was! lol

to Chloyd : Thanks for the comments! I don't plan to resume uploading anywhere, I'll probably just be a watcher. Interesting about Spankbang allowing the watermarks, I hated doing the extra editing to remove those things.

xHamster doesn't believe in givebacks either, believe me... it took persistence and 4 emails to change their minds from an unsympathetic "NO." My last message to them focused on how they didn't follow their own terms and give me notice of complaints, so that's what did it.

I know of others who've suffered the same issues as you. You might try Spankbang.com, it's a little more lax. Even allows watermark clips. Phub will delete your account too, but there's no give backs.
