to NiciSlut : I'm a major movie buff and if I wanted to type out everything it would not be possible. I've always said the original Texas chainsaw is not just a movie but its something that simply CANNOT be remade..it's a product of it's time(as many of the movies Laurren listed) I think i'm being trigged. I can talk about movies all damn day.

to laurrren : Good choice! I finally watched Slevin tonight and it did, indeed, keep me entertained right up to the end. I won't get specific so as not to spoil it for anyone who might read this but the twists and turns were fun to follow, Lucy Liu was adorable and the movie felt a bit like Tarantino lite. Thanks for the recommendation.

Great list, and it definitely shows the focus of your favorites but a lot of variety nonetheless. Face/Off is great, and it almost, and possibly should have, been on my list. It's an incredibly entertaining movie and well acted, has all the John Woo touches, interspaced high action and classic music, birds flying, shootout in a church, but done very well. I'm happy to see that we have some in common though, and The Place Beyond the Pines is another good movie. But I'm going to say something that shocks some people....

I've never seen Grease.

to tiatempest : I read the book, which was wonderful, I really enjoyed Brie Larson in United States of Tara and I've got the movie on order from my library. Thanks for the additional positive review.

to laurrren : I watched Fracture online about a month ago and really enjoyed it. A clever plot and outstanding acting.

One movie that would definitely be high on my list is Room. I can't praise it enough. It's a movie that will stay with me for a very long time.
