Why don't people read Profiles?

Ok who else has had this

someone contacts you via PM you talk a little then they as to meet?
when you ask have you read my profile they say yeah yeah its cool
come fucking on man you have not taken the time to read my profile
and you want to meet?

when they do read your profile they come back and say sorry
i was just trying my luck
fuck sake people read profile before making contact to meet

Oh I get it all the time on here and a few other sites as well.
Some don't take the time to read or look at more than a few photos and think I'm a female. haha
