Naked

You stopped before me,
You took off your clothes,
And instantly what I saw...
Your nakedness was all!

You looked at me with a smile,
I watched you and smiled;
Suddenly like a breeze
On my skin I felt!

The house was in darkness,
And you, in front of the mirror,
For me you were no longer a...
It was you with your reflection!

Your panties between your feet
Lay on the floor,
And up above I could see
The most beautiful paradise...

Overflowing with passion,
Of desires and lust,
With total excitement
Full of sweetness and great fury!

Your hair in the winds
And your womanly curves,
Transformed such a moment
Into exquisite pleasure!

A few glasses of champagne,
Soft music in the background,
And a mischievous and fatal
Proposal that I won't even mention!

You went to the chair
With both glasses in hand,
And I approached you
To kiss those lips.

A fresh, sweet mouth
And so very tasty,
That certainly makes you
Not want to leave!

From there, caresses were born
And an endless amount of so much more;
Totally, a delight
Of a very select delicacy!

Already naked on the bed
We made love,
For a long, long time
Until sleep came!

On my chest you slept
Very deeply,
And then when the day came
All your skin there naked...

It reminded me of the Maja
That Goya painted one day,
Naked on a bed
Just as I observed you

Blessed be your body
And all your nakedness,
And blessed be the sky
That created you, Woman!

What a beautiful tribute to feminine beauty and sensuality...
Yes, shadow and darkness do favor eroticism, rather than full light...
Yes, it leaves the senses other than sight: smell, touch... other possibilities towards more love and pleasure...
I love your sensitivity so much Ingrid and the way you express it...
Sincere congratulations for this poem whose intensity increases as one reads it...

Quite a contrast with the previous poem you delivered to us, dear Ingrid! While What Never Was was all imbued with the pain of a love lost forever, Naked is instead all about gaiety and lightness. It almost feels like a play by Marivaux. It’s as if you have found the antidote you need to escape the gloom inherent in a passion that is doomed to never be satisfied. Some call this ability to bounce back from adversity resilience. I admire your strength of character. Also, I like the reference you make to Goya, who is one of my favorite painters. The naked woman (La maja desnuda, painted between 1790 and 1800), lying in a lascivious pose while looking at the viewer, exudes an eroticism still as intoxicating and fascinating, about 225 years after its creation. When two authentic talents, one artistic and the other poetic, meet, even at such a distant interval, one can only be seduced and charmed by so much grace and vivacious beauty.
