Notes
- All these studies contain average penis sizes as measured by researchers [i.e not self reported].
-There are a number of other self reported studies/surveys out there that provide a wider variety of figures. These are excluded because of the unreliability and inaccuracy of self reported results [they are subject to bias].
- These studies provide either stretched flaccid lengths or erect lengths. Stretched flaccid length is similar to erect length [but not exactly].
- These figures represent averages. Average doesn't mean all. Within every racial group, there is a range of sizes [small, medium and large] regardless of the average.
- Contrary to popular belief, the average isn't actually 6-7 inches. All averages are below 6 inches.
- There is only one study that I could find that contains researcher-measured figures for Africans. More research is needed. However this study does challenge the "all black penises are big" stereotype.
- While Egypt is indeed on the continent of Africa, modern-day Egyptians aren't black. They are mostly middle eastern peoples.
- Asian and Caucasian averages are very similar.
- I don't know how to explain the two lowest figures [3.8 and 3.7 inches] for Asian and Caucasian men. They may be outliers.
- With the exception of the two lowest figures [for Asian and Caucasian men], the averages for all the races [including Asian and Caucasian] are fairly close to each other.
- Figures for Asian men [all the figures] challenge the "all Asian penises are small" stereotype. More evidence can be found in the uploaded photos and video.
- When representing Asian men, some people like to focus solely on the 3.8 inch figure from the South Korean study, while conveniently excluding the other studies performed on Asian men [5 - 5.5 inches]. The 3.7 inch figure from the Canadian study is also conveniently never mentioned. This is obvious racial bias intended to portray Asian men in the least favourable light.
- Even if there were a small difference in averages, in the stereotypical order that people imagine, this doesn't mean that Asian men are universally small/smaller or sexually inferior. Asian men come in a range of sizes and skill levels.
- The science in this area is definitely inconclusive but these studies at least serve to challenge racial stereotypes. More research is needed.
