***KNIGHTS!!! *Models Right Hand Helpers, Or Se

I have been receiving a load of comments receintly regarding the Cam Room Knights Program, that started here...oh lets just guess a little over a year ago? However long ago, I think most of us have had plenty of time to form our own, and many times shared, opinions of the entire Program.
***Lets start at the beginning, and understand why it was created.
"Knights" (Gold Members Only) were created here to act as a Monitor of sorts for each Cam Room Model/Room independantly. (A "Right Hand Man" so to speak) It was supposed to work as a system to keep unruly Greys and Guests in check, to allow the Model to concentrate on other members in the Room. If a Grey/Guest became unruly to either the Models or other Members etc, a Knight is able to Ban that Grey/Guest from any further talking. Sounds simple, and it should be!
***That is basically all it was intended for, period. Unfortunately it quickly just became another mess in itself, that not only gets many members upset, but whether they realize it or not, the Models themselves are the greatest effected by things that Knights might do, or not do.
The Model and Knight should discuss exactly how far to let someone go before Banning, But Still Very few have ever done that. OK, Technically ^The Knight should be picked because he has experience here in Cam Rooms, knowledge of this site, it's Rules, Regs etc. Have a level head and is fair on an even level. Be 1 of her steady, loyal Fans who is in her room whenever possible. But instead of sticking to the basics and just doing the job correctly, it many times creates even more drama that it prevents. And everyone is at fault, the Knights, Models Gold and Grey members and sometimes Guests, Even Admin! To begin with we are not c***dren, and Rudeness, insults and other things like that that upset the flow of the room shouldn't even be going on here, But unfortunately......
Admin started out by really not explaining it fully to anyone, including the Models, so that left it up to the Model to decide how to pick her Knights! Many of them decided that instead of picking the best suited for the job, they would either pick their highest tipppers, friends, Highest tipper of the day, whether she knew him or not, or simply Sell the position for *X Amount of Tokens!! Some girls do not even allow Greys/Guests into the Room, yet they still were/are selling the position!! **WHY?? If there are No Greys, No Knights are Needed!!
So now not only did she hurt some peoples feelings, she didn't have the qualified people to help her with the Room, She only had the Best Tippers mainly! OK, then the Knights chosen, many times take the position to their heads, and try to control the Room His/Her way, not the right way, and many times not even the Models way! Instead of Right hand helper, they become Room Dictators, advising everyone what to do, including Gold Members, who they should have nothing to do with! They have no control over, or are in any higher a position than any other Gold Member! If a Gold is disrupting the room, which yes, it does happen, that is fully up to the Model herself to deal with! *Not a Knight!
Some rooms may have multiple Knights in them, and I've even seen Banning Competitions form, who could Ban the Grey Faster!! lolo The Model is at fault for this type of behavior, she should be controling her Knights. Usually I just see their reply read "LOL"
Knights were originally Unlimited which was rediculous! I hear StripChat has limited it to 25 per girl, I'm not positive about that, but I feel that's still too many. If a Model cannot get 1-3 Knights into her room Daily, she hasn't chosen her loyal Fans! This hurts her in the long run, because Knights that don't play fair or act like Dictators only chase people away, and some even stay from a room because of the Kinght, not the girl!
I myself am a Knight in a few rooms. But it's easy to just stick to the basic concept. When someone needs to be stopped from something, IE: Requests w/o tipping, rudeness depending on how bad, or doing anything the Model I know does not approve of, I usually make a comment to the person first like "Tip first, or calm down" etc. If he continues then I'll Ban him. I'm not saying Im the perfect Knight, far from it! Many times I get picked solely because Im a woman, and some Models prefer another woman as her Knight. Im surely not the biggest tipper! I don't know if it's right or wrong, but I just try to help where I can.
Other than all this I've written, I really don't know as yet where I'm going with all this information! Hopefully it somewhat better explains the Program and it's limitations/obligations to every one of us here, and maybe if we know what is expected, we can all make these Rooms and Models lives run a bit smoother in the future!
