Daniela Jara story always breaks my heart
Every time the short Daniela Jara documentary appears before me online a part of me dies inside.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Daniela Jara story, Daniela is a young woman with God-given natural beauty and incomparable pear-shaped figure who for whatever reason chose to have surgery to remove her excess weight around her thighs and ass in favour of a scarred and generic, but thinner shape.

It also strenghtens my hatred for the culture of media-dictated and approved feminine shapes. Nothing is more sexy and womanly than a full bodied woman.
