Pride Parade (Jubilee) - London 2019
On Saturday, I woke up early to prepare for this wonderful event. I had managed to book a place within my work's LGBT section. Mmm it's a long day and walk, but it is totally worth it :D. I wanted to do the walk with my wig on (a colleague did and in stilettos *clap*) but it really was too hot for it :( - so I did it in comfortable harem trousers and floral top, topped and tailed with nails and make up.
I do not think this is the walk of shame as in GOT - I actually felt pride in walking down in front of all the public
I will definitely be going next year, but will look at joining some other city Pride Parades too .... any suggestions? ;)
August 2019 update:
I'm happy :D ! This happiness is that I am openly out as a trans/genderqueer. Participating in Pride in London as part of the parade means that I can openly walk down the street as a CD/TV topped and tailed with make up and painted nails. If you're local please say hiya ;).
I'm applying again with my work's LGBT section for Pride London 2020, this time I will be fully Camilla ;) - look out for it (27th June 2020)
