My College Experience - part one
I had just turned 18 and was off to college. I would be staying on campus in a large building 9 floors. The first floor was the main lobby it had computers in one room and another had a large room with alot of chair to watch a large TV. The main floor had the reception area an a small kitchen area. Every level had a resident staff who got live there in a room by themselves one for each floor. Also there was a hall director who took care of the place and lived there. There was also was a basement which housed alot of washers and dryers. 2and, 4th, 6th, 8th where all girl floors while 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th were all boy floors. Each floor except the first had one big community resroom and shower in the middle. When you went in it had showers on one side and restrooms on the other with sinks in the middle.
My first day I was alittle lost I was 18 and about to experience college life. There were alot of other students in line waiting to be assigned a room. My floor was the 8th floor. Each floor had 18 rooms and two students per room. My room seemed small it had two beds on each side alittle more than a door with of space since the door was in the middle. And nine drawers that were long and at the foot of the bed with just enough space to pull out the drawers and three giant windows above the drawers just slightly tilted inwards. The top of the large drawer had alot of space. I unpacked my suitcase and duffle bag. I unpacked my clothes and left my other items in my suitcase under the bed. My roommate would soon be coming I knew wondered what type of person she was an what she would look like.
