Return to Wedding Day
Many of you have read my posy "Wedding Day". It was October 12, 2004 and was my brother's wedding day and I escorted mom. After we got home, and got undressed, I asked mom to accept my collar and become my property and she agreed.
So yesterday, August 15, 2022, almost 18 years later, and almost a year after losing her to cancer, I was reading through a birthday and anniversary book she kept. My brother had given it to me when we cleaned out the house.
It was very heartening to see she had created some internet passwords that mirrored ones I made to tribute her. But when I got to October, she wrote the date "12" and next to it was printed "collar" I just teared up. If I had ever doubted her, she just made it even more official.
Now, did my brother read all the entries too?
