Bad Company - Bad Company (1974)

Bad Company - Bad Company (1974) Digitally Enhanced & Amplified + Album Art
*i did not include track #4 'Don't Let Me Down' & #8 'Seagull' as i personally did not like them. I converted all tracks using an equalizer..emphasizing on the lower & high frequencies. These tracks were originally converted into m4a format but FileFactory can't stream m4a so i converted it back to mp3 losing a bit of quality in the process

a Krug760 : I use dBpoweramp & the ranges are only 60Hz-500Hz & 1KHz-16KHz..so i just play around the 60Hz-130Hz range, gain around +5dB..& 4KHz-16KHz gain it up gradually a bit to around 4dB. Yup sometimes the snare kinda gets distorted even when i set it on 0..might be the clipping i get after amplifying it with MP3Gain. Btw i prefer transcoding audio from lossless codec like FLAC than from same lossy Mp3 cos the sound might turn out best in a single shot. With Mp3 i might need several tries to hit the sweet spot. The best IMO is transcoding FLAC to M4A (Nero AAC). Thx Krug760 for the tips..i'll try not to use gain & see the outcome.

If you use an EQ, avoid to enhance but reduce the frequencies, especially if you have to use mp3,
be careful to reduce a range around the 400-800 Hz and a range around the 2-4 kHz, mp3 cuts ultrasounds
"squaring" the waveform and adding distortion especially on the snare drum, then use the general volume
if it seems too low, let the frequencies you need on 0 and reduce the frequencies you dislike, never
gain with any kind of EQ, analogic, digital, graphic or parametric.

a PublicEnemyCknz : I like BC but I have to much music, I´m a grazy fool into Rock music. It starts with Aerosmith and goes up to ZZTop, roundabout 6.000 Albums with 80.000 Songs.
