Alice Latexy’s short latex lexicon

The following is a list of a few of the words that come to mind when I am in latex, or when I’m around other latex beings, or when I’m watching others in latex in a video. Each word is accompanied by an evocative definition or a description of the aspect of latex that the word conveys to me.

Aroma (n.) – the pleasurable play of latex on the nostrils as it penetrates the body and arouses the fetishist; the lovely lingering of latex on that skin after someone has undressed; the wonderful way latex permeates a room when a wardrobe, closet, dresser, or protective garment bag is opened

Beads (n.) – the delicious decoration of polish, sweat, water, or piss on the surface of latex

Loose (adv.) – describes the lovely latex that sways, floats, flows, and excites the fetishist’s skin when they move
Quivering (adjective) – describes the shivering stimulation of thin and loose latex hems and ruffles, which draw the eye and tease the senses

The following was written several weeks after first posting this blog entry:

Since conceptualising this short latex lexicon, I have often wondered what drove me to do it. It’s not based on anything I’ve seen or anything that I remember having read before. Why then have I felt the need to do make this list?

It is only now perhaps, in reading Jean-Paul Sartre’s Introduction to Jean Genet’s first book, Our Lady of the Flowers, that I have begun to have a glimpse of understanding why I might have done so. In his Introduction, Sartre explains that: “The words which compose this book are those that a prisoner [i.e., Genet] said to himself while panting with excitement…. The reader will open Our Lady of the Flowers, as one might open the cabinet of a fetishist, and find there, laid out on the shelves, like shoes that have been sniffed at and kissed and bitten hundreds of times, the damp and evil words that gleam with the excitement which they arouse in another person.”

Could it be that, for me, the words of my lexicon "gleam with the excitement" of arousal? And, what of you, dear reader, do you have words that similarly excite arousal in you?
