After getting the business issues put to rest finally (after a few years), we're finally going live in a few weeks. The developers are working right now building the site and the back-end e-commerce stuff and it's getting really close to being live.

My production company's first site is almost ready to go live. Apparently, my city (Toronto, Ontario Canada) is one of the world's porn hubs where 1000s of videos and websites are developed produced and distributed around the world - no surprise since it's a metropolis of millions. However, finding models, for some fuckin' mind-boggling reason, is nearly impossible. I don't know how or where the FUCK other producers in the city are finding enough models to produce large volumes of content each year. There must be some secret underground network of models that don't advertise, but somehow these other producers know how to reach them. I find model forums where girls post portfolios and say "I'm available for hardcore. Please hire me!" I contact them and offer them work - nothing. No reply, even after several messages. Other times I find models by advertising and casting calls. They say they're interested, I book them and they bail at the last minute. If this was LA, I could call one of 40-50 agents, modeling agencies and independents and chose from several hundred hot models who show up on time and do all that's asked of them and don't say "Okay I'll do it, as long as no one ever sees it" - which I've heard before. I struggle to find every 2 weeks who's at least serious enough to reply to my emails. And, half the time they're border-line unsuitable for doing porn. It's frustrating, to say the least.

All that said, it's not all bad. The girls I have so far are top-notch. They're young, hot and have great attitudes. And, with some recent financial backing, I can offer more money resulting in more interest, and hotter girls. It's happening, but it wasn't easy.
