Gateway drug

The reason Marijuana was a "gateway" d**g is because you have to buy your weed from what is usually a questionable character. I was introduced to acid, opium, valiums, hash and cocaine just because I wanted a bag of weed. Most people would never be tempted by all these things if they could just get weed from a store. Gateway.. caused by the politicians short sightedness. They could have been getting tax revenue and saving prison overcrowding but these morons made it i*****l. They are the ones whoo made it a gateway because of the way you have to buy it from i*****l sources.

It’s been legal in here Washington state for a few years now ( as well as several other states) and there has been no increase in crime no increase in auto accidents and no need to meet with the sketchy dealers you refer to.

I certainly can't disagree with you. I guess I'm just fortunate that, although I've been offered some of those harder drugs over the years, I was always able to say no and I stayed away from them.

You're right, of course. Legal supply would also mean that quality and safety could also be overseen, as with any other consumer product.
