Uploads

Is it just me or are vids taking forever to upload? I know the mods occasionally halt the process because they're probably overwhelmed converting videos, but usually, when the system allows it, it takes no longer than a couple of minutes. Just wondering if anyone has had the same or a similar experience.

I've had an unreasonably rough time uploading certain types of videos, oddly enough. There doesn't seem to be any consistency w/how the "rules" (and I am using quotation marks on purpose) are applied.

My galleries and blogs don't take long at all, but my videos are slow as cold molasses in January! I think it depends on the traffic as well as my unpredictable air card. Some days it zips; other days not so much.

What i know is that most of these problems occur after XH did a major revamp of this site concerning HD vidz..(u can see it here http://xhamster.com/user/PublicEnemyCknz/posts/290337.html). So after 22 Aug 2014 moe problems came..system bugs. The worst was uploaded vidz got conversion error or some gets deleted. Most recently..few days ago..their upload bandwidth was limited. Even though i tweaked my upload speed..normally should be somewhere between 1500 KB/s to 2300 KB/s, it was agonizingly 130 KB/s average! Then i noticed that on that particular day they had revamped the 'Most Viewed' page from one page for weekly / monthly / all time..to 10 pages each. So these could somehow be connected to the limited bandwidth. Bugs are still present now..when u upload a file it will go into the deleted column & then back again into the waiting slot once it has been converted. Some of us called this 'Technical Bullshit'. Hope they get rid of the bugs soon.
