The new camera had built in noise cancellation and apparently the makers of the camera think sex sounds are 'noise' so it tries to filter them out and only allow speech. Despite being off in the software, when the camera reconnected it turned it back on within the camera itself. Figured out how to disable that afterward. Was just a problem for that 1 day of filming.
