Demolition 2015 (film reviw)
A great movie! It gives a lot of food for thought. There are no Hollywood unexpected twists in it, but those that are very vital and natural.
The main character has a misfortune in his life, he loses a close person. But he cannot understand how he feels about this, he begins to methodically destroy his habitual way of life and look for himself.
This is a film about finding yourself and how important it is to be yourself. The main character begins to notice things that he did not notice before or did not want to notice. He begins to ask himself important questions. He meets people who change his life and he changes their lives thanks to his hard-won new sincerity. To be honest, I put myself in the place of the main character the whole movie, I'm familiar with it. Maybe you do too.
Demolition was Jean-Marc Vallee's last feature film before his death on December 25, 2021 at the age of 58. RIP.
