I want to go deeper in my "About Me" introduction. The original About Me is below, but here is more context:

I hate social media. The Internet is both a marvelous place and it is a cesspool. You won't find me in social media. I don't do Facebook or Twitter. I stay away from online forums. I believe that social media makes people feel worse than they would without it. Social media creates isolation, loneliness, conflict and strife. It is unhealthy.

There are a lot of people, even and especially on this site, who are hurting, have hunger for community and nourishing interaction, affirmation, kinship and even friendship. And some of us need help.

The kind of help that a well-functioning social media site can provide, at least in part.

Having said all of that, why am I here?

I actually quit for some time last year. I quit after some troll insulted me. That person made me feel bad and it caused me to ask, "Is being on this site a benefit to me? Does it contribute to my feeling of well being?"

Does it do that for you?

I came back months later, and the answer to the above question is, "Yes!" In the thousands of interactions I've had with people, I find benefit in being able to share experiences of sexuality with others. Sending and receiving. This is especially because these are not the kind of interactions that I, and most of us can have with the everyday people in our lives.

More important, it's fun. Fun. That's an important word, especially in these times.

And, it provides a platform to celebrate the fantasies and real life experiences of others. It's a hackneyed word, but it's the right word: To celebrate others as they really are, in all of their kink.

99+% of the people I've interacted with here are non-judgmental, sexed-up folks just letting their hair down. There are some fakers, some weirdos (especially me!), some paid professionals, some tourists, doubtlessly some virgins, and probably some phonies who talk shit about Porn sites to their voters, but have active accounts here.

There are those people here, and so many more, but my interactions have been positive and fun. And fulfilling.

Then, there are the handful of broken people, the ones who comment and bully to hurt others. They remind me of the image of a group of thirsty trekkers drinking from a mountain stream, with an asshole with his dick out, pissing upstream of the trekkers.

My original About Me is as relevant and true as it was when I wrote it. I wouldn't change a word.

Safety, in all aspects. Practicing safer sex is plain common sense.

Hygiene and cleanliness.

Being a good, honest, positive person to others.

Respect for all races and sexual orientations and genders.

Security. I don't send phone numbers, e-mail addresses, location information, or go off-platform with people I have not met, or meet up with strangers. I don't respond to BOTs. You shouldn't either.

The things that I do and love are written all over this site in the comments that I make, and in the videos I make. I have not made videos with sexual partners and post them, but all of my videos are of me.
