Passwords

Can anyone explain to me the purpose of vidoeos and pics that need passwords ? If someone doesn't want them on veiw to the public.....just don't post them !.....or is it just me ??

totally agree there but some do it to share with the people involved in the pics and vids but they dont want it shown fully if you get my meaning
