Story ideas

hey everyone... um well any who actually is viewing my profile and waiting for new content. I just wanted ask about the last story I posted. Its been 6 months and I was wondering if I should continue it or scrap it and start fresh.
If I do continue it should I pick up from where I left off or should I just skip from the time posted and update it as the time went by ?
