Reading the fucking instruction -new story
So....
This is a bitching blog, don't proceed if you find bitching about people I never met annoying.
I just posted a new story on Literotica: http://www.literotica.com/s/zapping
The story is mixed English and French. I live in both languages and don't feel I need to either flaunt or hide that. It is very clear in the sub-title that the dialogue is in French. If you don't read French, that is a pretty clear indication that this story isn't for you.
Still some people feel the need to read the story and leave comment on how much they didn't enjoy it because they don't read French. Nobody forced you to read it, and it is rather explicit that some of it is in French. don't ead it and then complain.
Furthermore, the world is filled with people who are at home and at ease with more than one language. There are millions of people in the world that speak one language with their spouses, another with their c***dren, a third at work and a forth at the grocer's. Why can't we write like that as well?
Limiting text to stick to one language is stupid, languages are flexible and fluid things, constantly borrowing one from the other, either consciously or not. Writing should reflect living experiences and mental states... who gives a flying fuck if the website is mostly english.
I think it's becoming shamlessly b- (lingual)
