What do you prefer?

When I write stories I'm working from my memory for the most part. Sometimes I think I'm trying to get too much detail about what happened and stuff. For those of you who read the stories, do you prefer longer more detailed stories or shorter with less detail? I'M waiting for a shorter short to be published. Please let me know which ya'll would like to see on future efforts!

I guess I'm the opposite of most of your responses. I enjoy reading erotica, I prefer what is real (or assumed to be real) rather than just made up stories. Sometimes the difference is obvious. Other times not so much so. I look for something that I think will be interesting, then check the scroll bar. If it's real small I know the story will be long and time consuming. I've gotten to be a pretty good judge of how long the story will be. I generally like stories that are about 2 pages long. Much shorter and there's very little detail. Much longer they get too long and I get bored and move on. Just my opinion as they say. Yes, I've enjoyed many of your stories although I think most were longer than I prefer, but they were well written. Yes, I admit it, I did skip many of the stories because they we too long for me.

I do love the intimate details. I prefer a well written piece of erotica over a poorly done porn flick. My imagination as I read fine porn paints a glorious mental picture.

I like the longer drawn out stories with plenty of detail. It always seems too long when writing them but don't rush through to the finish, the anticipation is the most arousing.

I favor the stories of incest I had a stepdaughter who found me naked when she was 17 and we had a wonderful time after that and mom ended up divorcing me but I would do it all again

Longer and more detail always!

it's all about the details. I try to write as detailed as possible. it no only brings the reader in, but if done right makes it appear way more lifelike.
