Wedding surprise!
When my wife Linda and I decided to marry, she was just finishing up a few dates she'd made earlier - the last date had been set almost a year previous. The date was with an older gentleman - a nice-looking widower in his 50s. After his wife passed, it became known at their work (he was Linda’s coworker) that he hadn’t been laid in over a year and that aroused Linda’s interest. He wasn’t marriage material, but wouldn’t it be fun to arouse a man so needy?, she thought, and he turned out to be a considerate and sexy lover. Linda and this gentleman had one last date planned before she and I married – he’d bought concert tickets for a much sought after group and she wanted to finish out that date with him so he didn’t lose his money that he’s spent on the tickets. Linda told me candidly that she would probably invite him to her house after the concert to spend the night with her, and she hoped “I’d understand.” Understand, hell. I was rock hard thinking about the possibilities.
Linda had stopped her BC pills a few months previous, as I have a vasectomy. Her last date with this BF was a couple of weeks before we married and she was looking forward to it. So was I as we both knew we wanted her to continue to have sex with a few select men after we were married - the idea turned us both on. Her upcoming date with Mike was just one more step in what would become our shared marriage in that for the first time, I'd know all the details and I might even get to enjoy her afterwards. What I didn't know was that the date would take place on one of her most fertile days. She and I had talked about adopting or a natural insemination for her but we didn't come to any conclusion yet, although both of us were leaning towards a natural insemination.
Linda was pregnant as we stood at the altar. We didn't know it. A few days into our honeymoon, she started feeling not-so-good in the morning and her period hadn't come. "I've ruined everything" is what she said one morning, crying - the reality of it all was overwhelming as I reassured her that if she was pregnant, I wanted her to have the baby and would support her (and us!) 110%. The more I thought about it, the more I liked it, in fact! We had many decisions to make!
