XHamster - another change, annoyance, stupidity !
XHamster video presentations with views stated, but no more viewer percentage ratings !
Out of the blue, when all seems to be running smoothly - XHamster in their inimitable but unfathomable way, made a change, unannounced as usual, totally silly, serving no purpose whatsoever, but complicating the maintenance of one's site on XHamster.
Not long ago, when videos were presented, they stated the presenting site, the number of views and the viewer percentage ratings.Now, the viewer percentage ratings, appear no more on presentation. If one wants to see the viewer percentage ratings one has to click on the video itself to see that.
So far so good. I have almost 50 000 videos to edit and to do my yearly housekeeping. I got through 12 000 eliminations, by simply looking at the viewer ratings and get rid of them. I cannot do that anymore, Now, I need to click on 50 000 videos individually to be able to decide if they are to go or to keep. I am not going to do that - I have other things planned this year.
Any other adult site that present videos, state the viewer rating percentages clearly - on first presentation, just by clicking on their site. The only odd one out is of course - XHamster !! Why the hell do they do these meaningless and most annoying changes, for no obvious reasons at all ? What go into them ? What are we the users to do ?
My solution - simply let the site go to seed. No more editing or cleaning up, just let it rot. Then extract all the best videos on external media, then get the hell out of here ! Do they care ? Obviously not ! XHamster you have made yet another giant stuff up, by doing something simple, again for no obvious reason or benefit to anybody. PLEASE EXPLAIN !! Better still - RESTORE THE VIEWER PERCENTAGE FIGURE - it could not be that difficult !
