Be nice

When messaging, please be nice. I have been denying most men because they are swearing at me and just being mean in general. That's not how you make friends. I can't chat to everyone all the time even though I look at your message. There is only so much of me to go around. So please be nice to everyone

Unfortunately there is a not insignificant portion of the male contingent on this site who believe that rules from real world communication don't apply here. Like, you try to understand someone enough that you find if what you are looking for intersects at all with how they want to interact. Instead, they think that magically any behaviour they wish to indulge will somehow be the exact behaviour and interaction that the unfortunate femaile who wandered into their crosshairs wants to partake in. Sorry to hear that you are having to deal with these knuckleheads
