At first rebuffing all his attempts to woo her, she eventually comes to enjoy the attention being paid to her by this amiable and persistent fellow. The two grow ever closer and, becoming lovers, she begins to cuckold her husband. She comes however, to find herself emotionally torn between both men, unable to choose, and actually wanting each of them. Finding this arousing, she allows herself, at her partners urging, to begin having sex with other men in order to humiliate and deny him by so doing. In another memorable scene, she permits her now husband to greedily take her straight after a coupling she has enjoyed with a stranger on a riverbank.
