Sharp rise in polyamorous and open relationships,

Yes, we are moving towards a society where everyone is polyamorous or in open relationships, and that's not such a bad thing.
Over the past 40 years, pure monogomous couple relationships have shrunk from the majority to a small minority, to under 20% now.
The majority of relationships now report either open, polyamorous, or swinging on a regular basis. So for every couple we see out at the store or restaurant, the odds are they are regularly screwing others beyond just themselves and support each other in that.
This together with a sharp increase in masturbation, overall, might explain the rise in the reported frequency and intensity of orgasms and ejaculations.

There are many articles looking into this rise but here is one i enjoyed...

I think, and this is just my opinion of course, that the polyamory/swinging lifestyles have seen their "golden age" about a decade ago.  I work with young adults and I hear more and more about how pornosexuality is REAL and it is getting more and more accepted.  I remember participating in a circle jerk around 30 years ago and I was terrified people were going to out me.  So much so I never did it again, though I loved it.  Those days are gone and being known as an "edger" or being in a "goon squad" is nothing to be shy about.  And why not?!  It is so much more practical and safe to fuck your hand with a group of like-minded friends than risk disease or spend a bunch of precious time and $$$.  Again, just my opinion.  Cheers, Gentlemen!

I’ve always felt that a monogamous relationship is boring and that people get bored with the same person and so the desire to cheat is there. An open relationship can be enjoyable but both parties need to be in the right frame of mind in order for this to work. The spice of life is variety, always changing things up, otherwise life becomes very unfullfilling. This is just my viewpoint, right or wrong.
