Where is my bff hiding

I feel like the older I get the less likely I am to find the one. My partner, my lover, my bff, my soul mate. I've been searching for what seems like forever and it also seems like everyone/anyone that appears to be just what I've been searching for is either too far, taken or both. The longer I'm single the less confident I end up feeling about not just myself but my future as well.
