Red light flags to watch out for, if it says dear bbc customer, and not your real name ( thats a red flag), also if it does not say in email uk tv liecing or any logo of tv liecing its a ( red flag) its a scam, , and spaces in the email that shoud not be spaces, also dont click on links in the email they sent you, it will send you to a scammer website .
