Once upon a time

Where to start, lets see now, ah yes...... Once upon a time while on the run from the king and Queen said fugitive stumbled across a poster that had been nailed to a tree which spoke of freeing oneself from the humdrum of everyday life by following the path to enlightenment. WHAT! path to enlightenment i thought, whatever happened to the white rabbit, every story has a rabbit in it, well that's what my Aunt always said. So of i trudged, through wind and rain, hail and snow down dark paths till one day i came across little Jack Horner who was eating Miss Curds whey, Jack tried to speak but just mumbled, Miss Curds giggled and said, open that door yonder and peer through the looking glass.....I stared into the looking glass, what an intriguing world, so varied, so alluring, so......scary. Come in, come in a voice called, i stared back out of the glass, how did i pass through. Welcome a velvety voice said, turning i found myself facing the Queen for the first time. How did i get here i asked, don,t you worry about that came the reply, you,re here now that,s what matters. Then i heard someone chuckle, it was Miss Curds she had an amused and knowing look on her face.
