Cruising European Gay Bars
From 2012 to 2017 I travelled extensively for my job.
I was constantly getting on and off airplanes and jet setting around the world.
I visited 34 countries in those 5 years.
It was an exciting time in my life and I really made the most out of my weekends when I was visiting a new area.
My favourite trips were always to Europe.
I would spend 6 weeks travelling in a rented car around the continent, enjoying many countries and European cities along the way.
On weekends, I always made sure that I booked a hotel in the downtown area of the city I was visiting.
I would seek out any cruising areas or bars that might be located in the city and if they were a hit, I would visit them again on a return trip.
I would also book my hotels as close to those cruising spots as possible.
I thought that I would list my favourite in each country visited for other travellers looking for the same experience.
Netherlands

Located at Sint Jacobsstraat 6, 1012 NC Amsterdam it is located very conveniently (3 minute walk) around the corner from the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The first Euro gay cruising club that I went to (and returned many times).
The bar staff were handsome and friendly and spoke English very well.
I had a lot of fun on the second floor darkroom and cruising area every time that I visited.
This is a must stop for me anytime that I am in Amsterdam, as it is usually full of hot older uncut Euro daddies.

Scheune - Berlin, Germany.

Located at Motzstraße 25, 10777 Berlin, Germany it is roughly a 15 minute walk to the bar from the Intercontinental Hotel.
I absolutely love Berlin.
I had some great trips to that city and loved it every time I was fortunate enough to go there.
Not far from the Intercontinental Hotel and Tiergarten, it is another must visit bar for me while in the city.
I had some wild times in that club. Especially downstairs in the cruising area.
If you didn't get everything you needed from the bar, there is lots of late night cruising in Tiergarten park.
One late night walk through Tiergarten, I stripped completely naked in the park.
It was a hot summer night and I was walking back to the hotel after visiting Scheune Bar.

This is one exception to my hotel not being anywhere near the bar.
However, Prague is an amazing city that you need to walk and enjoy.
Drake's is not far (13 minute walk) from Charles Bridge.
There is a great back room with booths and glory holes and a massive dungeon cruising area in the basement.
